I took these photos at a Hillary Clinton presidential campaign rally held the day before the Pennsylvania Democratic Primary. The speech took place on campus at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. The next day, Clinton won the primary by 9 points, ending a month of intensive nationwide media coverage of the race (no other primaries were on the calendar that month). However, this was Clinton's last major electoral success, and she ended her historic run for the presidency less than two months later. This is the second installment in a series.

Obama Philadelphia Rally, 4-18-08, Part 3
I took these photographs at a rally held for Barack Obama four days before the Pennsylvania Democratic Primary in April 2008. Obama spoke at Independence Mall in Center City Philadelphia, drawing one of the largest crowds of his campaign. He wound up losing by 9 points to Hillary Clinton in Pennsylvania, but won the state in the fall election. This is the third part of a series, and focuses on T-shirts displaying a comic sensibility.
